You have a few options for airports when planning your trip: 1) Perugia Airport (PEG): About 50 minutes by car; 2) Florence Airport (FLR): About 90 minutes by car; 3) Pisa Airport (PSA): About 2 hours by car; 4) Rome Fiumicino Airport (FCO): About 2 hours by car; 5) Milan Malpensa (MXP): About 3 hours and 30 minutes by car. Note: Rome might be the priciest option because of the Jubilee, a major Catholic pilgrimage event that happens every 25 years. Milan usually has the best flight deals.

We recommend renting a car as it is the most convenient option for reaching the wedding venue and will allow you to explore the Tuscan countryside at your own pace. It is possible use a combination of trains and taxis to reach the wedding venue; however, the latter option will be more difficult to coordinate and likely less cost effective.
